that sucks. not long after i got my blue car, i got rear-ended by a cell phone talking 70 year old preacher in his brand new lexus suv. it was only the bumper cover that got hurt, and i got a new one, but still it pissed me off
i agree with jay. phones should be automatically disabled when entering a car. i know i have used my phone in my car plenty of times, but all of my cars are bluetooth, and voice controlled, so at least my hands are free, and it's not much more distracting than talking to someone sitting next to you. still, i could probably wait until i get where i am going to make that call. after all, that's how it was not that long ago.
i never text and drive, and barely text at all anyway.
