Porsche Piston Lamp
#1

My best friend is an industrial designer and made this for me as a Christmas present last year. keep meaning to throw a picture up. By far the coolest furniture related thing i have. He made it by hand out of a 944 piston. I used to have a 944 (my first car, rebuilt it with my dad) and then got the 968. so there is always a special place in my heart for a 944.

to be a true porsche lamp, the wires must be hard and crunchy, showing some bare wire, and with a no longer available connector.

If it doesn't work, change the DME relay <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.png" class="smilie" alt="" />

At least it's not a Lucas Electronics lamp - dim, flicker and off would be its only functions . I like that piston lamp, very cool !!
