I can't even stand to have a license plate frame on any of my cars. And front license plates? Never!!
Off-off topic - had a 968 sighting on the freeway this morning. First in about six months!

yeah - i hate porsches - i almost didn't buy this car BECAUSE it was a porsche. i don't like their engineering precept, or pretty much anything about their cars, and i certainly don't like the owners as a group. PCA makes me crazy and the attitude that prevails amongst the owners is off-putting. the 968 owners, on the other hand, have turned out to be largely a very "normal" bunch of car enthusiasts.
the 968 is the ONLY porsche i would even consider, and it is very much outside the box. the fact that it is the red-headed step child of the family was the factor that swung me over.

Adam yours didn't count!
vliegwielolaf1234 - It's technically against the law to drive without a front plate here in CA too, but you generally won't get pulled over for it, or even get a ticket for it, unless the cop can't get you for something else, like tinted windows. There is an exception though - I got stopped and ticketed at LAX. Seems the TSA photographs every car coming in there, and they want to be able to track you if anything 'unusual' happens while you're there.
Ironic footnote to the above story - I forgot all about the ticket and had to go to court in Santa Monica to pay up. While I was in there my car got a ticket for no front license plate!
Flash - I'm going to use my tax refund to get the alignment and clutch done. The fun starts soon!

In my humble opinion, less is more. Any thing in the form of badges, decals, stripes etc, breaks up the flowing lines of a car's design. The 968 has a very unique design and turns heads. Keep it minimalist and keep em guessing.
