Not really 968 related, but my region (Hurricane) just finished restoring a 1970 RoadRunner (440) for an air force master sergeant returning from the Persian Gulf. We shocked the hell out of him at the 'reveal' last night. My wife was starting to think I had a girlfriend after I got home past midnight most of last week. My Porsche mechanic, Jimmy Ellison of European Perfomance, rebuilt the engine for free. A local bike shop did the paint (Sub-Lime!), Carquest donated all of the parts, and a tire wholesaler kicking in new shoes. Hurricane members put in over 1500 hours of work. All in all, a very fun and rewarding adventure.
