Nice to see a 968 on Bring a Trailer, lot's of exposure to other car guys.

It is always fun to read the comments from people who don't know the 968 so well. The BaT comments include "We've long said that the only 968's we'd prefer over the 944/951 predecessors are the factory 968 Club Sport models, ...." which is a bit odd since it seems all 968s are better than 951s (discounting the body style which some people may prefer in the 951).

Anybody ever go to an IMSA race when the 968s were running? These cars took a BEATING.

Beating as in literally getting banged up, or as in they were uncompetitive?



Nice looking car. It has the same wheels as I have. Also, I'm surprised that it has the stock spoiler, and not some wing sticking ten feet into the air.

It was bumper cars in those races. Huge number of cars per mile on the tracks. Huge disparity in the skills of the drivers. The 968s had to be pretty stock. The car in the picture looks very nice, but I guarantee that car was wrecked probably many times.
