Greetings From a New Member in Costa Mesa CA
#1

Hello All,

I've had my '93 Amazon Green for about a year now. I still enjoy seeing the looks from people who have in some cases never noticed this model of Porsche before. It has 190k miles on it but doesn't look it, nor does it drive like it. It has the limited slip diff option and 12-point seats.

Cheers,
Roland

Thank you for the Welcome.

Flash, are you the one who wrote the article "How Much Does Your Intake Suck"? My car car came with the modification already, but I enjoyed your article and the approach you took with all your measurements. BTW, the previous owner did not glue the rubber rings around the holes. I'm assuming this is no big deal??

thank - yes, that was me

"rings" - they are there for 2 purposes - the correct ones round the entry edge and smoothen the airflow - not much, but every little bit helps - the other reason was for aesthetics - it keeps the smog nazis away

hope to see you at one of the local 968 events soon - watch the calendar for news

Hi Phil,

I drive down to San Diego regularly. I'll watch for you on the 5 on my way down.
