yes, though it really doesn't hold the carpet - the glue does that

Grrr, one of mine has a goofy split at the rear end that can't really be fixed as the plastic is quite thin. Time to find those SS threshold covers that I have a picture of and no one can locate. Maybe a project this summer, they don't look hard to fab. They would be a breeze to die strike if one had those means.

Flash, I was told by Jeff at Sunset (I think it was - btw, he no longer works there) when I went looking for a new one, that the 968 steering shaft is also NLA. And that it's different than the 944 steering shaft. Super! I was lucky enough to pick up a low mileage used one from a Porsche dismantler.

I tried to order "threshold cover" last year was told all set 3 weeks later was told not available. If someone finds one some where let me know.

@Dave, can't your split be plastic welded from the back? I've done some great repairs on plastic that was otherwise irreparable.

Possibly but it is quite thin plastic.The elusive sill attached.

A set of those just sold on Pelican Parts last month, I think they were listed by the seller for around $270.

I still see the sill plates in many places, but not a ridge plate like that.

M030 NLA DISASTER! As some of you may know already, the factory front M030 sway bar is no longer available - it is sold out and on back order everywhere. Flash mentioned to me over the weekend that there are NONE LEFT IN THE WORLD! We can only hope that Porsche will do another run of these things - if not, I fear those of us that need this part will very soon be seeing ridiculously sky high prices, due to demand, should any pop up on eBay.



I would suggest, if any of you were planning on upgrading to M030 sway bars in the future, that you put in your order NOW through Sunset Porsche - I ordered mine from them a few weeks ago as they had the best price that I could find.



Hopefully if Porsche has enough waiting orders for this part they will see there is still a demand and it will prompt them to make more!

another NLA: 941.504.815.10, bearing sleeve

used at the pivot points where the cab top folds. had to get them used from DC Automotive

a recent inspection found 2 of them missing from the driver's side...after the screw popped out of the passenger side

As far as the M030 sway bars, I know there are places who manufacture sway bars from stock (though I don't have any first-hand knowledge of any such shops). My front bar is off at the moment, with no prospects of it needing to go back on anytime soon, so if there is anybody (preferably a group of people) interested in having some made, I'd be willing to use my bar as a donor from which to produce new duplicates, if someone, or a group, would be willing to cover the shipping. If there's interest, I could pull off the rear bar (giving me an excuse to convert to a delrin bushing...) as well. Just a thought...

Lindsey Racing makes an M030 rear sway bar replacement that is nearly identical to the OEM bar but has 5 settings instead of 3. They also carry the OEM M030 bars.
