Just came back from NYC, went to the international auto show (started today til end of next week I think). Was a bit disappointed by the lack of rare cars there, there were a few but you can see most of the cars there every day on the road. The Porsche section was very small and didn't have anything more than a Porsche dealership would have to show you except for a Cayenne GTS used in a rally racing. Oh well it was something to do on a Saturday [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif[/img]

Yea. Thats the way they are out here in California too.
Its kinda fun but, they are usually disappointing.

Most shows are simply dealers trying to move inventory in a staged event. The big shows, Geneva, Detroit, LA, is where you will see the newer concepts. The biggest thing they had at the 07 San Diego show was the Camaro concept, which was pretty well worn at that point.
