Well, I finally did it. Thought I might die, but still here <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />



On the way there, it was NOT looking good. I mean the only thing more dangerous than the 'ring was a wet 'ring!

My ring toy for the day, an Alfa Romeo 75TS (1000kilos, 150hp, 50/50 weight dist, RWD, custom suspension, fully prepped, fun fun fun):

Video of me in action...keep in mind it is super dangerous with all that water, and the wet line is not at all the same as the dry line (due to all the rubber on the track). My father is filming and we had to hide the camera every now and then because it is illegal to film on the track :hmm::

Best lap time was 11:57 (bridge to gantry), which considering the conditions and the fact I didn't crash I will take gladly <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/tongue.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Thanks for sharing the pics and the video. That's great stuff, and obviously a really special place. How did you like driving the Alpha? I guess all of the 68's were already rented and out on the track?

The Alfa was great. Transaxle so 50/50 weight distribution, def a lot of fun to drive if you are ok with the back end stepping out a bit <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> Even considered buying one <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/laugh.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> All in all, I think it was a perfect car for my first time out.
