I read the piece, and the endless posts, but I failed to see the irony. They certainly do love their corvettes.

Most of those Vette drivers probably still wear " Members Only " brand jackets. Just thought I'd make yet one more reference to members , :-) :-) OT comment , but the nature of this thread begs OT deviations, lol ..anytime you bring Corvettes into a discussion you're asking for it, especially with our superiority complex ( vis-a-vis Vette owners .. ) 968 forum members .

That's outrageous, who would be so bold as to bring (Bright.Yellow) Corvettes to a 968 convention??? And then, to have the audacity to interfere with the photo op...

Why, it's almost as disturbing as putting a Boxster in the middle of a 968 parade, at a PCA sponsored event

I blame Rico...

If there are 968 members of the Corvette list, does one have to be "vetted" to join our little club?

hehehehe

As can be clearly seen by their positions in the photo, the Vettes were used as pace cars..quickly pulling to the side on the road course soon thereafter to avoid the 968s running them over, lol, and then rejoining at the back of the pack, where they belong ! ( not the drivers , only the cars ) Yeah, that's my story and I'm sticking to it
