Hello - this is Chris from Philadelphia. I don't have a 968, but hope to soon and hope to learn a lot about them in the meantime. Thanks a lot for letting me join and thanks in advance for sharing all of your knowledge and insight.

Welcome, Chris. Buy a 968 cabriolet if you have a garage to keep it in, and if you can find a good one. Putting the top down and crusing on a summer day is great! The coupes are probably more practical, but I didn't get my '94 cabriolet to be a daily winter driver--it's my "fun car". You might consider joining Porsche Club of America which will get you their magazine called Panorama, with listings of members cars for sale every month. There are frequently a few 968s listed.

Good luck in your search, and enjoy the fun of a 968 when you find it.

Hey Chris!

Welcome.

As I'm sure you must have read by now, if you've been brousing the forum, we are VERY lucky to have RS Barn in our area.

Pete and Max of RS Barn are world renouned 968 experts in Newtown, Bucks County.

Having them located near us is as good a reason as any to own a 968.

When I was there last week, the other 968s in the shop had been driven in from Nova Scotia Canada, and San Francisco California!

I'm in Delaware County. Where are you located?

Jamie
