New Owner
#1

Just want to say hi. I just drove my "new" 968 Porsche home today. I'm in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. I bought a 1992 Cabriolet with 47,000 miles and a automatic tranny.

Awesome low mileage car...lots of events in the DC area and more if you watch the East Coast. It's always great to put a face with a name, hope you will participate.

Glad to have you aboard,

Welcome to the Forum, and congratulations on finding a low mileage cab. You'll not stop grinning when you put the top down--in fact you'll make excuses to go out and "exercise" the car. If you're not already a member, join PCA and your regional chapter as well. You'll meet a lot of nice folks and find willing help if you need to fix something on your 968. Plus, this site has threads by other members covering just about everything you can think of about our cars.

Enjoy!

And you'll get to meet some really great 968ers...which is the best part of ownership.

Tempting, I grew up in Fairfax City. Let me see if I can get the timing belt changed around here and I may drive it up there. Where do you all meet?

Welcome. I would love to do a fun run through some of the twisty mountain roads in Shenandoah. That's beautiful, scenic driving.
