New Member from the Dallas, TX Area

Hello Everyone,

New member to this forum.  I currently live in Plano, TX (a suburb of Dallas). I recently (last weekend) purchased a '95 968 cab. It is Speed Yellow, but the original color is "green" according to the previous owner. The car has 32,000 miles on it. Smile

Welcome. Low mileage car, nice. Be sure to look at maintenance, sometime low mileage cars aren't up to date with things like timing belts, and that can really bite you bad.

Welcome, that's really low mileage, you are fortunate to have found one that unused.

You should look up Jeff Coe's 968 registry and send him your info. He may be able to tell you more about your car than you already know.

Also, the members of this forum have very strong feelings about timing and balance shaft belts. Read up on the maintenance issues and do your best to avoid these problems. They are far cheaper to avoid than to repair.
