Hi everyone, I just took posession of a 95 968 Cab. It was severely neglected over the years, and will need a little of everything done to it. I'm really excited about this journey, and hopefully I can add some good content to the forum during this restoration.

Welcome,

Glad you found your way here. It takes 5 posts to gain full access to the site, but from the sound of things you won't have any trouble getting to 5 in a flash.

Regards,

Jay

Thank you everyone! I can tell this is going to be an awesome place to hang out. I'll definitely go check out the manual top instructions. I've got lots of new parts on order, like a new water pump and roller kit. So I'll try to document the entire journey on here.

Once you take a look at the threads you will realize that there are some distinct differences among parts. All the members here have their favorites, and some have had bad experiences with certain brands. You may find such information valuable when you go to order parts.

Welcome, and Matt started a thread about what maintenance to do for a new acquisition that would be good to look at. The timing belt should be at the top of your list, biggest "no bang" for the buck.
