Hello from Washington, DC
#1

Hi all, looking forward to (hopefully) joining the 968 community soon.

Im at the looking for a 968 stage. I may have found one, well see how the PPI checks out next week. Id been looking at 944s but saw so many ropey ones I decided a 968 was probably the way to go.

Whatever I find will be a driver, not a garage queen - I like wrenching on my own vehicles when I can. Previous Porsches are a 996 Millennium Edition a few years ago, and a 66 912 way back when. Current fleet is a Tesla Model S and an Audi S4 convertible I love that V8, but I need a stickshift back in my life.

Cheers!

James

Well, ‘my’ 968 was collected from its former home in Idaho late Monday night, and is - hopefully - on its way over here to the East Coast.  Once it arrives I can begin the fun stage of “what have I actually bought?” … initial work will definitely include windshield replacement, timing and balance belts (and variocam inspection), various leaky steering components and a CV boot.  Fun times!
