Despite some rain, humidity, and uncomfortably warm temperatures today, the weekend was very enjoyable. Thanks to you all for including me (and Marilyn) in the activities - good friends, good food, and good times are a combination that's hard to beat. And of course, those wonderful cars - the venerated 968 (and its venerated cousin, the 911)!

Quick thanks to Darryl and Christine, Cosimo and Anne, Jerry and Marilyn and especially Melva. I have some pics I'll try to put up tomorrow...mostly the peopole and not the cars, that's what makes this whole experience so great.
Thanks Again for a great weekend,
Jay

It hadn't occurred to me that some of my "Porsche bretheren" from the Schattenbaum Region would be there, showing their cars. So I was doing a lot of looking and talking with the guys, as well as aimlessly wandering around.
Best in Show: Red 911 with the black Fuchs wheels, right next to the red 912E
Most Fun Car: Red Fiat 500
Car I'd Most Like to Have: '59 Blue Lotus Elite
Had a great time. Hope to see you all again soon.

Finally got a chance to post some pics in the gallery...
The weekend was a great time, even if we did lose a few to bad weather and unfortunate circumstances. In the end, we had Darryl and Christine, Cosimo and Anne, Melva and Jay for dinner on Friday. The same crew for dinner on Saturday with the addition of Jerry and Marilyn. And on Sunday we added Jason with his Lotus Elise and gf Brandy. We had a wonderful time, the cars were beautiful and we avoided the rain that bookended the event by a few minutes.
Thanks all for making the weekend special, next time, we will definately have a fun run!
Regards,
Jay
