New Carpet

Hey guys just bought a '92 968



Need to replace carpet and have seats recovered. i have the seat guy, was going to do the carpet myself. Anyone have a good quality economic source for the carpet ?

Bob, my carpet is light gray and the local upholster;y shops have not been able to find an exact match for it. I bought some used carpet from a salvage yard (www.20car.com) and will clean it up and use it as needed. Good luck, Bob Blackwell.

Yes my cab is light grey carpet as well, almost sand grey. Seats are light grey also but I might change to classic grey. Most of the carpet pieces seem to be non-molded so I might bring the old ones to an upholsterer and ask him to cut and stitch custom pieces.



Pelican did say they could get some 968 colors $ 833.00

Wow! that sounds expensive, but it really is good quality carpet. I bought the rear hatch carpet from 20th Street Auto Parts in Phoenix, AZ for $95. Waiting to see what condition it is in when it gets here. good luck, Bob Blackwell.
