Hello fellow 968 fans.  I own a 1994 Teal Green 968 cabriolet with cashmere interior and Tip-Tronic automatic transmission. I have owned my 968 since September 2000.  It was delivered new in Scottsdale Arizona which is where I purchased it from the second owner.  In this configuration, it is a very rare 968. Actually Wimbledongruen Metalic paint code B5.  Faster and faster until the paint peals off! Stopped at 135.

Of course, sliding on ice is usually quicker than on a grass surface.


The 968 Wimbledon Greeen is a spectacular color, IMO !

​I keep a towel on my seat so I have been able to maintain the stock color during times of stress.

 

Does any other cab owners have any experience with removing the rear screen to replace the window without removing the entire top?  

 

​Also does any one have a recommendation as to a particular type of replacement window?

 

Last, I am in central California (Fresno) so does any one have a recommendation as to a shop that does great work at a reasonable price?  I am willing to travel to AZ, NV or NM for the work.

Can't make a specific recommendation, but any top notch upholstery place should be able to handle it.
