Just got back from Rennsport this weekend in Monterey, spending some quality time with my father. Great seeing the amazing collection of Porsches, what a great event.



My father and I share a love and passion for early 911s, but certainly appreciate the car company as a whole and the history behind their other models and designs. I am casually seeking a 968 cabriolet and happy to be part of what looks to be a great forum.



Current cars between my father and I:

1968 912 soft window

1969 912 targa

1970 911T

1973 rolling chassis, maybe a RSR clone one daycrazy part about this chassis is it 8,500 original/documented miles but missing everythingperhaps we will bring her back to life one day.

From another P-car owner in SF...welcome! 968s are difficult to find& maintain (parts are often NLA) and getting harder...fun & sexy car, but sometimes a real PITA (even more so than most Porsches).



Best wishes for your search! Maybe be patient and flexible is a good strategy? In other words, figure out what version 968 features you must have, like 6-speed or Cabriolet and find the best version you can.
