New 968 owner from Holland
#1

Hello fellow 968 enthusiasts!

I'm from the province Noord-Brabant in the Netherlands (Europe).

A few months ago I got a great deal for a green Porsche 968 Hardtop, so I went for it!

It was in an overall good shape.

There where a few (minor) problems, but I already fixed the most of them.
The two biggest problems:

1. One headunit didn't came up, but that was quickly fixed after refurbising the electric motor.

2. The AC doesn't work (yet!). This will be repaired soon.

I will soon post some pictures.

I hope I have a nice time here!
(Sorry for my English!)

As soon as you have rights you should post some pics. Also have a look at on Porscheforum.nl, there is a lot of activities (Tech Days, or KnutzelZaterdag as Dimma calls it) planned for the 968s

Hey unknown4u,

Is there a quick way for me to find out what are special options?
I've found some lists with "Option Codes", but they are pretty long.

Offtopic: Is it true that we can't edit our posts, or is it because I'm a "newbie" on the forums?

you can edit them for a short while - then you have to send the admin a request for edit - this is to maintain the integrity of the database and archive and prevent malicious deletions (as we have seen in the past)

In your service book on the first page you will find a sticker listing your option codes. You can also lift the carpet in the trunk and you should see a sticker there as well.

@968Forums admins
I wanted to add a picture of the options sticker, but no more add picture option on the introduction topics I guess that is one way to get us rule breakers to toe the line
