New 968 owner
#1

Hello all

I just bought a 1992 Dark Blue 968 Coupe. I have always followed the model and finally got one.

Odo says 70K and it looks great and runs great. This is such a cool looking car, and most people think its a newer model Porsche!!!

I plan to share with MY boys who just got their restricted, LUCKY KIDS, they don't know just how lucky they are.

I have a few things to sort out but all work is getting along successfully. I joined this forum to get more info on the car and also to keep in touch with fellow owners. I plan to keep as original as possible.

Thanks,

Bsybum

It was 59 degrees this morning in the DC area -brrrrrr

Welcome, I think your idea of keeping it original is worth while. A look at the April 2011 Excellence magazine shows that the early 968's are now increasing in value rather than the years of long decline that almost all cars go through. If you have service records to go with the car, you will show additional value in its future. Even if you don't, start now. With only 70K on the car, its low mileage and even if you do your own work on the car, keep the bills for parts and add notes as to the date and mileage they were installed.
