My retirement
#1

Hello to all of you.

I am retiring as one of the owners of 968Forums.  It is effective now.

I bought in to help preserve the site as there had been talk of it being closed down without additional notice.  That concern has passed and my input in that matter is no longer required.

My "ownership"  has been passed on to Jay to do with as he sees appropriate.  He may want to simply keep the ownership himself, making his life easy, or may want to distribute my portion to others as he sees fit.  That will be his decision. Talk to him about it if you have interest.

I may lurk in the background to see what's going on but, other than that, this will be my last post on 968Forums.

I hope that 968s dramatically increase in value, all mechanical issues cease to exist, and you all live long and prosper.

Over and out.

Kim, thank you for you innumerable contributions to the Forum over the years!!!!

Nice to know you will still lurk. The sage of Bugtussle has left the building.

May your Cayennes always run as well as our 968 :-)

Kim many thanks and good luck with your retirement. Why are you forsaking us? Are you relinquishing all of your social media participation?

Thank you. Im a newcomer and dont have much insight into the ownership/admin dynamics. However this forum has been absolutely invaluable in keeping my jalopy on the road and preserving my relative sanity.

You are all too kind. I guess I just got fed up with the aggressive dialogue that seemed to be popping up without cause or need. That has not been happening for the last couple of months so I am pleased about that.  I look at Forums about 4-5 times every day.

For the record, I have NOT retired!! I work more now than I ever did. I only retired from participation in Forums, and that only because I just wasn't interested as an owner in having to look at the members of something I paid for being abused by another.

Since I am posting, I sold the 2014 Cayenne diesel at 399,400 km.  I still have the 2008 Cayenne GTS.

Still miss the two 968s.

Are you complaining because you weren’t being abused? Feeling left out are we?
