"Brady, who admitted to dangerous driving, was
banned from driving for three years and will have to take a new driving test before taking to the road again."
WOW! What a heavy price to pay. No way a guy that loves cars that much can go 3 yrs cold turkey.
BTW-if you can control a car at 170mph what challenge is there in a driving test?
darn, I guess he was clocked way before he could reach the car's 193 mph potential ...unless of course, they caught him on decelleration after he had already toped out he probably would have paid the same price so may as well have gotten the bragging rights with a 190+mph ticket..
Did anyone see the story of a guy doing something like 140mph in a Hyundai Sonata? It was in one
of the car mags a few months ago. On the way back, he was clocked again doing about 105. The editor contacted Hyundai to see if that speed was even possible. The guy actually appeared to be smiling in the traffic cam photo but he wasn't smiling after going to JAIL. If only he had been texting on his cell in the photo...

Yup I read that article as well, motor trend I believe. The car was a rental and as I recall he was on his way to work in the early AM hours from his girl friends house. The argument was that a budget 4 cylinder rental car couldn't make it up to 140mph and that the cam's radar wasn't calibrated. They were wrong.
