Multiple Issues After Collision Repair
#1

Oy Vey everybody!

On May 15th a Ford F250 Crew Cab made a kamikazi dive for an exit and litterally drove over the let front of my car. Left front wheel had about 15 degrees of negative camber. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/ohmy.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> Anyway, decided to go ahead and paint the entire car while things were apart. Removed doors, bumper covers, glass, handles, mirrors, wing, etc.

There were delays in getting parts, mostly rubber, and I finally got the car back at 5:00PM on last Friday (8/10). Driving it home I noticed the following problems. 1) air bag light on; 2) Speedometer and odometer didn't work; 3) radio had power, but no sound; 4) A/C blowing hot and 5) the alarm light on the console would not go out when the doors were unlocked.

Granted, some of this may or may not be related to the collision, but I thought I would throw this out for the input of the group. All thoughts appreciated.

Best,

WA Wells

air bag light probably due to a battery disconnect or jumping during repair

radio likely the same if it is stock (might just need the code entered)

speedometer probably a speed sensor problem

a/c probably cracked a line up front, or lost all refrigerant

not sure about the alarm light on console - do a blink test to get the error code
