Well with the up and coming London ULEZ Zone, (Ultra Low Emissions Zone) where us Londoners will have to pay £12.50 a day to drive our older cars, mine tested today lower than the requirements but still can get an exception,
in fact my 2013 A4 is not in the list, nor my 2012 Volvo

They have millions of pounds worth of ANPR cameras recording your registration plate as you cross into the zone
Then if you have not paid the next day it goes up to £100, and then keeps going up to a maximum of £1000 fine
Non of this money is going to help reduce pollution it just goes in the government tax pile
The lockdown has proved that only a massive reduction in traffic improves air quality, not another tax on the motorist
