Biggest problem is getting that area sealed. Do a search here...there are a couple who've done it. Flash did it "right" but of course, it wasn't "easy". I opted for slim depth Kenwood models that I have tucked behind the seats for now but hope to fabricate a bracket to hang them over the edge of the cubbies. It will retain the use of them, which most people sacrifice when putting woofers there.

rexter you can get foam speaker baffels from crutchfield for the 6x9's and you will still be able to use the cubbies, I used them behind the 4x6's in my cab and lost the use of the cubbies because of a molded fiberglass enclosure inside the cubbies for two 10"s, sure do miss the space but the sound makes up for it.
