What is it that makes the MO3O option so desirable ? What eactly is included in the MO30 option ?

And lastly can the effects of MO3O package be duplicated with after market parts ?

The M030 option is desirable for its rarity, and the fact that it includes a lot of the basic items people would normally add to make the car handle and brake better. It includes:

Larger front brakes - same as those found on the 944 Turbo S, and 928 S4

Cross drilled rotors all around

Larger front sway bar - 30mm

Adjustable rear sway bar - 19mm

Adjustable yellow Koni front struts

Adjustable yellow Koni rear coilovers

Additionally, all known M030 equipped cars also came with the 17" wheel option, and the LSD option.

Many people take non-M030 cars and upgrade them to M030 specs and beyond. Its not too hard to exceed M030 performance for less than it would cost to exactly duplicate the M030 package.

Here's a list of 968 M030 parts: http://www.weissach.net/968_M030-Option.html

Karl.

PS: Though most people say "mmm-ooo-thirty", the option code uses zeros. So its "M030", not MO30 or MO3O...
