He claimed to have only been going 40-50mph in a 35mph zone but it was 31 degrees F on Z rated tires..............

Shows why Dumbasses don't deserve to own Lambo's or any other car that is worth over $380.00

"Joe Schmo In a Lambo"!!! Ha, ha!

When the temps drop below 40, the supercars go into the garage for the duration...

But, obviously, Joe Schmo does not know... anything! What a dope!

God help us and save our cars from these idiots...

Idiot should have sold it right away. I'm guessing it will go for something more like 70% of it's sticker now. Anyone one to take a guess at what kind of body shop is doing the repairs?

It's really a foolish gift to someone of modest means - the simplest maintenance on an exotic will swamp the average man's budget (mine included).

All of these are valid points but come on guys, this was just the guys dream come true! Who amongst us doesn't dream? Anybody out there buy a raffle ticket from PCA for the new 991? Perhaps the problem was that he wasn't a 968 owner with all the native intelligence that connatates. Or perhaps he just turned his dream into a nightmare. Remember Forrest's mother said, stupid is as stupid does.

True. Its also not for the average driver with average skills. They can be tricky to drive. So even those going from Bentley to Lambo end up running off the road.

I love my 968 for what it is & don't hate it for what it isn't!

Rap,

For those who dare to dream...for the 50th anniversay of PCA the factory produced 50 special Carreras with special packaging (Paint, wheels, interior trim, etc.). In all its glory here is #50 of 50 which was drawn by sweepstakes by PCA. I saw this live at a PCA function several years ago.

There we go Jay. In a previous thread today I said last night I sar in a 2006 carrera basic. Not your dream but somewhat similar. Didn't have the same impact my car has on me. Soon I will drive it to check it out but you know what they say about first impressions!
