Looking for .... Speed-Pulse '93
#1

I've been trying to find the wire that's giving the so called speed-pulse.

I've been measuring most of the wires next to te drivers seat on the floor - but even the ones that have the colours as shown in the electrical diagrams don't work.

Anyone that can let me know which wire I need to get the speed-pulse onto the radio (Becker).

Thanks in advance,

there is actually easier access to that behind the dash - there is a thread about it in the section to which this thread has now been moved

I've scrolled trough these 5 pages of topics - but can't find it

I've lifted the fuse-box - and there's plenty of space to work on the wire - attached, soldered and isolated it ... and just "dropped' the wire inside ....

... can't believe there's an easier way - or easier accesible wire behind the dash

i'm looking - i known that sho968 posted a DIY - oddly it seems to be in the wrong place - here is the thread where the diagram appears - it's post #16:

i took a pic too in my install - you just crimp onto a wire back there, and you're done - i'll put together a DIY and post it

I see

Nice Job ... but now I'm only confused by the colors ...

Red/Black behind the dash - and Red/Blue below the fusebox
