Looking for light gray seats
#1

I have a light gray interior in my 94 cab. The previous owner replaced the worn out gray seats with earlier style almost perfect black seats. Trade or outright buy? Thanks, JT. johnt@cfu.net

are your black seats comfort or sport seats?

Yes, you're correct about Marble Gray...that color was used as the lighter gray in 94 and 95. I'm pretty sure Rhudeboy just listed his old ones on the Wash DC Craigslist. Go here:

I always thought my seat bolsters were pretty unforgiving. I saw a pic of some sport seats over the w/e and indeed mine are also sport seats. Darryl, thanks for the link!

Yup, those are my seats. I purchased some leather CPR and I have some Zainos as well. I'm going to give them a good conditioning soon and take some better pics of the damaged area as well as the passenger seat.

If your interested, make me an offer. A good candidate for leather repair also. I had a specialist in the Annapolis area look at them. He assured me that he could remove all cracks and brighten up the color. He would of course mend the tear also.

As flash noted, I have a unused set. They are undamaged pair from a '94 cab. But I'll have to double-check the color code (to make sure it's what you want) and will have to go to my storage space to snap pictures (which means I have to get off my butt....).

Send me PM or e-mail if interested. I'm not interested in trading for sports seats, however (I already own two pairs for a four-of-a-kind).

Okey Dokey. Build date is 2/94. Looks like original seats would be the 944 style. But I will take whatever style I can as it's the color that's most important. Thanks all! JT

Would you be interested in trading your black seats for marble grey 993 style comfort seats? I'd like sport seats in my car...Black isnt the color i want (Marble grey or midnight blue is)...need to check how much it would cost to redo them if i were to trade.

Joe,
Don't know if you got my other note or not but I would definitely be interested in taking a look at them. I could even send you the cassette cover with return postage so you could compare.
Regards, JT

Fox,
Please send pix, thanks.

Just to let everybody know, I ended up purchasing Joe's seats. He was kind enough to send me a small part to check for a color match and match we did! I got the seats last Friday and put them in over the w/e. They are just right!!! So... I now have a pair of Sport seats w/heat for sale! Black, 8/10 condition. I'm going to see if I can take care of two little wear spots on the outside of each seat's bolsters. If those are repaired to my satisfaction, these will be approaching a 9.5 rating. Anyone interested? And thanks, as always, to this forum.
AWESOME PLACE!
