I did not want to complain... and thought maybe it was just me... but I have had the same problem on three different computers for weeks now. Really annoying.

This started with the software update/upgrade. Once you log on, a cookie should be set, but I log on at work and then have to re-logon when I go home, so the board must track IP addresses and know you're at a different PC. I have to logon each time I'm at a different location, so I figured it was supposed to be that way so you couldn't be logged on multple places at once. I'm sure someone can chime in and anser this for us, but I too didn't want to "complain" as it really isn't a horrible problem.

Along these lines I do miss the lo-fi version that didn't require a login which was the setting that existed before. I used to read the forum from my phone when I had a few moments, (or honestly in bed once on a while <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/huh.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> ) and the lo-fi version didn't require a login; and if I remember correctly you couldn't post from the lo-fi version (since you weren't logged in). I'd prefer to change the lo-fi back to require no login, in large part since it is so difficult to "type" the login info on a phone, and then you get the normal full page version, and then you have to go change it to lo-fi. (no big problem at all, just voicing a preference if we make any changes).

It is not a big deal.
Keeping one step ahead of the Russian hackers is a full-time job. My company (SAS) has ~ 6,000 unique email addresses and averages over 100,000 incoming emails per day - of which 93% on average are spam, phishing, or worse.
