locked 968
#1

I just went to get into my 94 968, and nothing.......... no door locks, no hatch lock. It appears the battery is dead, and the micro switches on all the locks are in active. Any way to pop the hood to get at the battery in this mode?

Any help is appreciated.

Use the key in the door. You have to turn it with more force than if the electrics were activated, but there is a manual actuation of the lock.

Tried that, and still no luck...I used enough force to almost break the plastic keyholder ..AAA is on the way, I'm not sure they can help other than putting it on a flatbed for a ride home! I'm sure when I have more time in the yard I'll get it figured out.

Did you try both doors? This should work easily.
