Got my new-old Cab this weekend. Although this is a car that I don't need and can't afford, I gave into the obsession. The car is beautiful and rolling down the freeway with the top down and the engine cruising along at 2500 RPM in 6th just felt so damned good. Then jumping off the freeway, grabbing a gear and squeeling the tires onto a surface road at 5K RPM - too much fun.
Thanks to all on this forum who got me completely educated before I jumped. I did the PPI at Stuttgart in Tempe (Jack is a Porsche version of Boyd Cottington btw). We need some work on the cam (good call by TheMirror) and a couple of oil leaks - nothing out of the ordinary for this car. Also need some freash rolling stock, but that's expected.
Also big thanks to gryphon for introducing me to Jack. The car has a proper mechanic now.
