It's time yet again
#1

Hello all you folks.

I have been a site owner since Flash left.  I have not had a 968 during this time. I have essentially nothing to do with running the site, in part because Jay looks after it and in part because I haven't much to offer here in Nova Scotia In Canada. I really need to be out of this.

Although I paid money (way too much I might add in hindsight) i want no money to transfer my ownership. All I ask is that the new person must;

1. be approved by Jay

2. be a long time member who is active

If that is you then PM Jay and ask him if you can swap with me. My approval isn't needed beyond this post.  If he agrees, then simply have Jay deal with it at his end.  PM me directly if I can offer anything useful or otherwise.

I bought in to help keep the site alive, which has happened rather well enough. However, with no car and no real involvement I can do what I do now - looking at the posts every day - without ownership.

Kim

Kim  invested good money to support this site. If not for him it would have closed down when Bob said to buy him out or he'd shut down the site. I'm in for way too much, but I never expected any return, and I have no intention of ever shutting this site down. If one of the hundred or so active members want to do Kim a solid, that's OK with me. I will not accept ownership by committee unless you buy me out at the same time.

The cost of running the site is covered with donations. You will never get rich..

Jay

All, your continuing donations are not only a needed contribution in assisting Jay to continue running this forum solo,  but it’s the right thing to do...if anyone here can say the forum’s information hasn’t saved them hundreds ( if not thousands..) in troubleshooting and repairs, with all due respect, I think they’re lying to themselves .. And for those who have never donated in the past, this is a good time to start.   Thanks .

p.s. and thanks to Kim for the past co-ownership and all the other contributions to the forum,  with hope that you will continue posting ..

Nah, Flash also tried to talk me into considering this, but it’s simply not my “cup of tea”.

Me neither.  I have been a webmaster in the past, but I'm afraid my unexpected council duties are going to keep me busy for the next 5 years.  I am, however, about to make another donation, as you say DS .... try getting this much free advice from your local Porsche dealer ....

You are already a Booster, but please accept my thanks!
