Hello from Annapolis
#1

Hello all. Was redirected here from Rennlist. I think all of my pre-purchase questions were getting to be a little too much. I've had a pair of 944's, and always said my last upgrade would be a 968. Current 944 is coming up on some PMT and I figure if I'm going to sink money into an old car, I'd enjoy it a lot more if it were a payment on a 968 instead of a bill on the 944.

I'll end up perusing the site a lot at first, looking for answers to first time owner questions, concerns, what to look for when buying, how much various fixes will cost if I look at something less than pristine (and therefore much cheaper, I hope!), etc. I'm Navy, so this location, like so many before it, is temporary.

welcome welcome

lol - yes, you will get more information more freely exchanged here than there - it's a much friendlier bunch over here - welcome to the fold

there are members here that are in your area too, so you should be able to pick their brains, check out their cars, and really help nail down what you want

Welcome neighbor. I'm right down RT 50. Having owned 944s is a good experience or heads up as to what your getting into with a 968. Im not one of the technical guys of the bunch but I know a few do's and donts with mechanics. LMK if I can help with anything.

Welcome............If your looking to buy a car check the ones for sale here first. You'll find an honest lot here and someone to pm a car for you. Don't be afraid of the shipping costs for the right car either. I brought mine in from CA in a closed container for $1200.00 best spent bucks.
