All - I am truly challenged to insert new conical rubber anti-vibration mounts into my air filter housing along the upper radiator support. i took it apart, cleaned some things up, and bought new ones. Cut the old ones to get them off and simply cannot determine how to compress the cone part enough to get it inserted into the air filter housing. my guess is the factory had a jig of some sort to do it with. I have tried a bunch of ways but cannot get there. Anyone done it before and have advice? i would hate to simply enlarge the hole - seems like cheating. Thanks for the help!

Dont make the hole bigger, I would guess you have managed to get the bottom in by trading it in with a flat blade driver, now the top part that goes in the filter
I found the easiest way was to hold the air box down as hard as possible and pull the thing trough with a pair of swan neck pliers and use some lube like silicone dash spray
Takes 2-3 attempts
