on the edge of the continent

out for a fun drive today on the Pacific Coast Highway.. alongside a GT3RS, a Ferrari F 430, a 427 Cobra.. and a few other "exotics" we encountered along the way. Still managed to keep a huge smile on our faces knowing we can outhandle most those pricey toys in sharp turns, and in a car that looks almost as good, for a fraction of the cost . Life is good.

The aim should have been a little more to the left! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/laugh.png" class="smilie" alt="" />

Just kidding!

Nice picture...

the photo was taken by Trevor ( I'm still amazed by the quality of cell phone cameras nowadays..) but clearly a good eye behind it as well, so he gets all the credit for that great shot..

umm.. not visible in the photo because of the lighting , but there is a translucent nylon tow rope tied to the Boxster, he thought he'd bring a spare car along for the run.. Oh, fine..a friend of his tagged along behind the two " real cars " for the ride.... :-)

Dan:

Next time you guys take a Sunday drive, think about giving a head's up. It would be fun to get a few of us Bay Area members together for a mini tour. And then you won't have to admit that the caravan was 1/3 Boxsters! lol

Will do Bill, this one though was not what anyone would call a planned event ; had about a half hour advance notice on that very Sunday morning followed by a spur of the moment decision to join in a quick drive..
