I'm ruined!
#1

I travel quite a bit on business and one off my biggest regrets is not being able to drive my 968! (Second only to my wife (and my guitars! Honest, honey... in that order!)). I now find myself getting into any redition of a rental car and thinking: "YUCK"!. I even found myself not objecting to a mini-van that Avis forced on me last week (Pontiac Montana -- REAL yuck), because anything else they might have had was still not my Porsche!

You might as well go for comfort....then drive it like your Porsche.

p.s. don't buy a car that has at one time been a rental...

Even with an obnoxious suspension, cage, etc., I drive the 968 to/from the airport.

Nothing like that drive home from the airport after spending days in rental sloshmobiles <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Amen to that, Brother! I park in the covered area, picking out one of those spots next to a post so that I can pull waaay over, away from the other cars. Then cut loose on the way home!
