I have listed my car here several times. It seems no one wants to pay up front. They want a barn find or awesome deal. They really don't come around much anymore. IT's pay me now or pay me later. Everyone thinks later won't come.

i waited over 8 years to buy a 968..not a lot of tiptronic white marine blue interiors out there..i got it for a deal..but knew i was going to drop a bunch of money into it to make it right..price wise is now at the average price of asking in 2021..It's been kept in pretty good shape so i'm doing a lot of cosmetics and updating older parts..I'm not a spring chicken..but this car at 5050 ratio has brought a smile back into driving down here in texas...Theres millions of people who have never heard of a 968..but that will slowly go away..look at the 914's now..maybe to some the engines are in the wrong place..but at least i don't have to drop it to look and inspect it..

I sold my Fiero on there for rather more than I expected, and had a good experience overall.  It was a thoroughly unpleasant car to drive; I hope the new owner is happy with it.

We have discussed this before. True car guys shouldn’t care where the engine is but rather that, if they’re lucky, they have a sampling of cars with engines in various spots! Each car is different and fun to drive in its own right.

Sports cars with the engine placed in the middle (generally) just handle better than those with the lump in the front or rear. You know, it's a thing called physics.



Over the years, my 914s have brought lots of smiles, especially considering they're 50 years old now.



My Fieros have had lots more power (stock), AC & more comfort than the 914s,..can't wait until I get around to putting the LS4 and 6 speed in it. The'88 has a better stock suspension and is clearly the better handling sports car than earlier models. Hard to believe it's 34 yrs old now.



The 968 cab is just too darn sexy, even if limited by its engine placement .

Well, my brother (still has AMCs and had a Mark Donahue Javelin with 401 and T10 & I think he had a rust bucket AMX briefly?) and my dad were into AMCs.



One of the first motors I helped my dad rebuild was a straight 6 Rambler. We never thought of making one mid-engine...or if we did, we then thought better of it.



Still, you could create a Frankenporsche like this mid-engine Porsche, which turned out way better than the Rebel:
