os - seriously - after about 2 years, and nearly 40 units out there, i've only heard from a few of you here on the site regarding your impressions about the supercharger kit. i've spoken to most everybody, though it was a while ago, and a number of the kits had yet to be installed. by now i imagine they are all pretty much in there.

lol - yeah - you are one of the reasons that stage 2 and 3 exist.



all should be fine now though. the bigger injectors solve the problems that those who wanted to push the envelope of stage 1 were sure to experience.



i was quite happy with the final results though, and i think everybody else will be too.

Just purchased a nice 968 cab on Tuesday that the SC kit will be going in! I loved my '95 coupe but wasn't comfortable with the shaved head; also installing all the toys would have made me want to get it repainted.

Stage 3 really smooth and love bottom end torque. Even though this endeavor has now cost me about as much as I initially paid for my current 968 I must say it is worth it.

lol - yeah - i get a rather sick feeling when i think about how much i've spent to get where i am. i could have bought a 360 and had enough left over to maintain and fuel it for 10 years.



glad you like the improvement though. it really is what the kit wanted from the start, but it just didn't fit the budget, and it wouldn't have passed CARB.

the SC'd 500 mile trip back was a lot of fun, entirely problem-free, temps stayed as cool as when the engine was N/A, at all times and in all driving conditions, the idle, and for that matter the entire rpm range while stepping on it or coming off of the gas is as smooth as a purring cat ( but runs like a cheetah with a rocket up its butt ), and although not a night and day difference, most definitely a noticeable change which I'd categorie as 25% faster over the entire rpm band from 2500 on to 6400... too bad I can't take it to 7100 anymore. Happy camper.

bummer though, i wish they would have supplied the same blue shade as flash's ( more of a violet tint to it, which incidentally is a much closer match to my iris blue car ) instead of this one, but not losing sleep over it, as it it still provides more of an "accent" than simple black hoses do. Now, considering the filter wrap I ordered is yet an entirely different shade of blue, I'll have more frigging blues in that engine bay than anyone - wires, hoses, oil reservoir cap, filter wrap, all different shades - sheesh.. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wacko.png" class="smilie" alt="" />
