Holy Moly... 600 Members!
#1

So I spent all of last week in Chicago on business and I come home to find over 600 members! Must have been some serious recruiting while I was gone! I am so happy that this forum has become home to so many! Not only am I swamped with work I have so many threads to catch up on.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who participates here everyday this is a great little community we have here.

All the thanks should go to you! Such a nice site and a great asset for the community. Congrats on your success. Soon you will have more members than there are 968s in the states.

Congrats Eric, the forum has also topped 10,000 posts.

Some interesting stats to go along with that;

If 90% of the members are US owners then 10% of US 968s must be represented.

123 Members have posted 10 or more posts.

The 20 most active users have made 65% of the posts.

The 10 most active users have made almost 50% of the posts.

And the most active user has made 1 out of every 7 posts!

Are you trying to tell me that there are 600 running 968s in the country? And all along I thought I had a unique car. Well, probably the only one in North Idaho anyway.

Having been a 968 owner for only one year I have searched the internet for info, mods, parts suppliers, tech help etc.

I have found several Porsche groups, here and in Europe, and I find that this group is the most interesting, helpful and complete.

Congrats to all that post and reply, We all are responsible for a damn good forum.

I for one am glad to be a small part of it!

Let's keep it up.

Congratulations on reaching number 600!

I have followed this forum for just about a year. I have had the opportunity to get to know some of the members personally, and a great many from their posts on this site, it is wonderful to find a group of people so passionate about their interest in these cars.

The information on here has saved me literally thousands of dollars (my first DME relay replaced at the dealer $235 with diagnosis etc., the second one $27 shipped from Paragon). I always make a point to let your sponsors know that I was referred by your site (Paragon, Tire Rack, RS Barn). You are worthy of their loyalty.

My car looks better, and runs stronger today than it did a year ago and I owe a great deal of it to this site and a number of your sponsors great products and services, and the always helpful posters who make this site great.

Best of luck on your continued success

Jay

It would be interesting to know how many 968's are still on the road.
