I just wanted to introduce myself briefly IAW for forum rules.
I'm a porschephile from Dayton, OH and I currently have a driver quality 67S and a 75 Carrera. I used to have a wonderful track-biased 944 Turbo S and was also fortunate to have a GT3 for several years (both now gone).
I'm looking at a 968 project on eBay (I assume it was already posted here) and talked with the owner. He referred me here for some more technical information and fact finding.
My goal is to end up with a dedicated "lightweight" track car with full safety gear in place and neutral enough handling to begin doing HPDE with my daughter (16 going on 24). Perhaps a 968 will be the ticket.
