Hi there,
I come here hanging my head as one who does not currently own a 968.
Actually, 20-years ago my first car was an 85.5 944 which I put 183k miles on the odometer before I recently sold. Along the way I briefly owned a beautiful '94 Aventurine Green over Cashmere 968 coupe which still leaves me in a cold sweat as I wake up remembering the day that the hauling company came to carry it away to the east coast; I really hated to see it go but, at the time, we really needed the cash to adopt our first child (Now that he is 8 years old, I can say I made the right choice although he does test my conviction from time to time).
Anyhow, now that I have freed up a space in the garage, Porsche fever is kicking in again and, after a month of flirting with "dreams" of a 993, I have returned back to my senses and have decided that there really can be no other car for me than another 968. I have enjoyed reading your many posts and drooling over the pictures you have posted - basically living vicariously through your 968 ownership. Now, I am combing the classifieds regularly just anticipating the day I can again join your ranks. Hopefully, it won't be long.
Thanks for having me,
David
