Hello from CT. My name is Mike. I don't own a 968, but I have always been a fan. Back in 1992 when the 968 came out, I was driving an 86 944 Turbo (boosted to 14.5 psi). I owned that car for 10 years, and loved every drive in it. As a huge 944 fan, I've always loved the 968. I always saw it as the ultimate evolution of the 944. 3.0 liters, the first Porsche with Vario Cam, 236 hp from a normally aspirated engine, 6 speed transmission, those awesome headlights, what's not to love...?
I currently own a 2007 Cayman S, which I enjoy very much. I am heavily involved in the Porsche Club of America. I am the current 'Cayman Register Advocate' and have recently been appointed 'Register Coordinator'. This opportunity kind of came out of left field, so I have a lot to learn. That's one of the reasons I'm here. I know that the 968 community is very active, and I'm guessing this is the place to be to talk 968s. I'm looking forward to seeing that passion for myself and getting to know you 968 guys a little better.
See you inside...
Mike
