Hi from Calgary, Canada - new to the forum
#1

I am restoring a 1992 968 Cab. that I recently bought.  It's in pretty good shape and is getting a full service and clean-up.  I am looking forward to driving it later this summer.  I am also looking forward to learning more about this fine automobile from the Forum members.

Welcome! Calgary, eh? You planning to drive the 968 for the two months of summer per year and garage it for ten, or will you strap some chains on the tires and rip around in the snow? When I live in Ontario I have to garage it from Nov-March which is just painful...

Yep, storage from Nov - Mar sounds painfully normal "down" here too! (Wisconsin)

Looking on the bright side, that's five months to repair and clean up the damage you did the other 7 months. Here, I only have one day a year.

Well up here we call summer 3 months of bad skiing.

Almost there with the repair, then the detailing starts.
