Join the Porsche Club of America in Prescott, AZ for a weekend of fun and great weather!
On Saturday, May 30, there will be an informal Porsche car show on the famous Courthouse Plaza from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Vote for the People’s Choice Trophy!
After lunch at the Prescott Brewing Company you can visit the shops around Whiskey Row or hang out on the Plaza.
At 3 p.m., after hotel check-in, we’ll take a little drive on one of Prescott’s great Porsche roads! We have some other activities planned for those of you that may have had enough driving for the day.
For dinner you’ll enjoy a catered meal among one of the finest private car collections around, including: a Mario Andretti Indy car, Formula 1 Ferrari, 1973 Porsche Carrera RS, Porsche Speedster, 1931 Packard and more! The evening is open for your choice of activities, from enjoying the great music scene to visiting casinos or hanging out with friends on Whiskey Row.
Sunday morning we’ll provide a continental breakfast while we enjoy another outstanding collection of vintage automobiles, including: 1952 Aston Martin DB2, 1965 ASA GT1000 (Ferrari), 1946 Curtis-Riley racecar, 1956 Mercedes Benz Gullwing, 1899 di Dion Buton Parisienne, 1962 Ferrari 250 GT and more!
We’ll then head over Mingus Mountain and through Jerome for lunch at Su Casa’s in Clarkdale. After lunch you can antique in Clarkdale and Cottonwood or return directly to the valley,
The charge for Saturday Courthouse Plaza parking and car show, dinner Saturday night (BYOB) and Sunday breakfast is only $40 per person. Lunch will be on you.
Hotel rooms at the Prescott Resort and Conference Center are being offered at the group single/double rate of $99.00 per night, plus tax. An additional $10.00 per person, over two persons per room, plus tax will apply. For reservations please call 800-967-4637 and request the Porsche Club Room Block for May 30, 2009. Reservations must be called in by April 30, 2009 to insure group rate and rooms are subject to availability. After this date, the room rate is subject to change and based on availability. So book your room early!
