Hello from Vancouver
#1

Hello.. I have a 94 968 Tiptronic Cab  88K miles, (not km's)  Imported from US in 2009 The 968 is the only Porsche I have ever wanted. It's so unique.

First time as a member of any Forum. Not something I aspire too! lol!

I don't drive it much.. about 5K miles in 12 years.   I enjoy driving it, but really enjoy maintaining it. Looking forward to doing the timing, balance belts and rollers this summer.

Currently working on the wheel bearings.

It's in thoroughly good shape, but not excellent. All original, including the radio!  It's (in my opinion) a very nice survivor car.

Cheers

It takes 5 posts to have complete access to the site (load pictures). We look forward to seeing your car.

Welcome! If you ever feel like a road trip south, we have 968 meet-ups in the SF area every couple of years.

I think I'd be confused, I'm so accustomed to not seeing another 968. Even now when I see a forum pic of a white cab I think it's mine Sad

Enjoy the forum Fenway; good bunch of people and constant flow of good information.

Welcome, none of us see any on the roads

Apparently there is another cobalt blue one near me, the wife has seen it twice, I have never seen it in 9 years

Haven’t seen either a cab or a coupe on the road for probably ten years or more ..or maybe I have but still, it must have been so long ago, I actually don’t remember it.  At one point there were ( other than mine )  four  additional 968s just within a 100 meter radius of my house !!  Two more a five minutes drive away which were owned by my friend and former quasi-neighbor,  and then yet another tow two owned by my other friend and part time mechanic, about fifteen minutes away.    This was a 968 hub  B)  many many moons ago.   Now they all vanished it  seems, or they sit mostly in the garage.. as mine does ..

Fenway, would you please post a shot of your radio when you have time. I have a Becker from a Boxster I once did owned and am intrigued as to how closely it resembles the original ....

that white cab in the photo on the right hand side.  Blue Interior with Roll Bar. I believe I have seen it up here in Portland, Oregon and chatted with the "new" owner at a Cars and Coffee.  I recall he said "I have had all kinds of P-cars,  Front, Mid and Rear. The 968 is my favorite one".   High praise.  I believe he said he just bought it, which would have been around fall 2019, IIRC.   Who's car was it in that old photo?
