94 SoCal Stablemate for 90 Corrado g60
#1

Hello all, its time to introduce PeteThePug. He was our pug dog back in the 90s and our user name across quite a few automotive forums since then. Pete crossed over the rainbow bridge long ago but he lives on in the interwebs.

Im Michael, his former landlord and new 94 968 coupe owner. Details to follow on what was supposed to be a grey market 928 purchase but that car wasnt ready for prime time in CA with CARB requirements.

Where does one start a build thread even though this 968 is already built?

Here in the into section or somewhere else?

Not criticizing,  but has something happened with your car's suspension?  The rake looks like you have several hundred pounds of lead in the trunk or something has gone wrong in the suspension?

Or maybe it's an optical illusion with the other elements in the photo?

Meh, just the way the sun is hitting it. Heres a filter that adjusts for time of day.

No, actually even though the car has only about 50K miles on it, the struts and rear suspension

were 30 years old.

The car has, since these photos were taken, all new front struts and mounts, with new rear shocks and coil-overs

as well as all new bushings all around.

When gravity works on you, it takes it's toll eventually, It's been corrected. Thanks for your concern.

On another note, please don't modify my photos...thanks...

OK, that makes sense. Good to hear you resolved ut.

Currently,  we are in the process of replacing the entire suspension on the 914, so we understand.

Glad I asked. Just sourced a small supply of New 968 Saratoga (glass) sunroofs to replace the steel insert. Ill start the build thread, unboxing of Saratoga top and mods over there.
