Seem to be a number of decent cars in and around the PHX area. There was a very nice Horizon Blue cab available last year. Good luck and keep us posted on your hunt.

Hi. Let me know if I can help in your search. Im pretty familiar with front engine Porsches. If your new to them, I know from experience it can be tough to know what to look for when shopping. Im currently living in Tempe. Drop me a PM, if you have any questions, or need a good PPI. Not many local shops know our cars.

They are becoming more, and more rare. LA is close though.

Welcome! You'll want working A/C, naturally, so when you locate a car it's a critical element. A shop will charge $1000 to $1500 to replace everything (compressor, receiver/ dryer, belts, re-charge etc) so allow accordingly. You could fix it yourself, of course, but I have no patience, tools, or skills so I just farmed it out on my '94 cab. Glad I did--I got to spend my time driving it instead of cursing it. I found my cab in Burbank, flew down to pick it up and drove it home. Nice rust-free California car, it's my "keeper" Porsche.

Have fun hunting, and good luck. Buy a cab unless you want to do DE track events.

Welcome to a great forum. There are a lot of 968's here in Arizona, more than you might realize. Patience is a requisite when trying to find the right 968. Best of luck!
