Hello from New Jersey
#1

I’m a 944 owner and love my car, but it could use a bit more power for the HPDE events I participate in. I want to learn more about 968s and think about a 968 coupe project to use on back roads and track events.

Enjoy your search. I found the 968 to be a more than capable track car. Yet you will still find it under powered compared to most cars you will encounter on tracks. Where do you track?

Mostly in the Middle Atlantic/ Northeast, NJMP (Thunderbolt and lightning), Pocono, Lime Rock, Watkins Glen, Pitt, VIR. I Love the 968, maybe it will be a capable track car with some mods. My 944NA is too slow as is.

I had had highly modified 968’s. They are great in the corners properly modified. Hope to see you at an event.
